Aster is a decentralized perpetuals exchange that trades with agent-wallet keys.

This guide shows exactly what Aster needs from you, how to create it without withdrawal permission, how to save it in TensorTrader on paper first, and what TensorTrader can do on Aster today. TradingView execution for Aster is not switched on yet, so this guide focuses on connecting and verifying the key.

Connect Aster in TensorTrader

Your seed phrase and main private key never leave your wallet. TensorTrader stores your public address and the restricted agent key, encrypted. That is the security baseline for every DEX that supports delegated keys.

1. 1Sign in and open Settings (the tab on the right edge), then the Exchange Auth tab.
2. 2Pick Aster. Instead of key fields you get a connect wizard.
3. 3Connect your browser wallet and choose the test network first.
4. 4Approve the trading agent with one wallet signature. The agent can place and close trades; it cannot withdraw.
5. 5Wait for the green status and the balance to appear. If both networks read empty, fund the test account first.

What works on Aster today

Aster is connectable but not live-ready. You can save and verify a trade-only key now; execution switches on once the venue passes the same parity checklist as Binance and Hyperliquid (balances, margin, fills, reconcile, fill-based profit). Connecting now also helps us finish it, which is exactly what the Pioneer program rewards.

If Aster does not connect

TensorTrader never asks you to paste a seed phrase to fix a Aster connection. If a screen does, stop.

Install MetaMask or a compatible browser wallet in the same browser and reload.

Fund the test network first; a verified agent on an empty account shows zero.

Testnet and mainnet need separate approvals; reconnect on the network you want.

The approval did not reach Aster; approve again and wait for the green status.

Placing Aster orders from TradingView

Until Aster is executable, alerts that name it are not turned into orders. Build your TradingView setup on a live-ready venue in the meantime: the same Batch Create alerts can later be pointed at Aster by changing the exchange in step 1 · Exchanges.

Does TensorTrader need withdrawal permission on Aster?

No. Leave withdrawals and transfers off. TensorTrader only needs to trade and read your account.

Can I test Aster without real money?

No testnet URLs are available, so TensorTrader fails closed and keeps Aster off the live-ready list.
